The Chair of Strategic Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Passau is offering the workshop Design Thinking and Innovation in the Winter Semester 2026/27.

This hands-on workshop gives students the opportunity to apply design thinking principles and digital business concepts in a real-world project setting. Working in agile teams, you will develop innovative business ideas for sustainable habits, create digital prototypes, and market-ready apps and present your solutions to a professional audience.

What you will gain

1. Practical experience applying agile sprint methods to innovation projects
2. The ability to develop and evaluate digital business models, value propositions and your own start-up
3. Exposure to key technology concepts that drive digital innovation to build a market-ready app
4. Skills to confidently present and defend a digital business prototype for sustainable habits in front of senior stakeholders
